“High quality background images are going to be a matter of the past.” – an interesting idea! I’ve also noticed this trend as an “old school” one. But it may be more popular this year. It depends on the quality and the style of the background picture. Big and realistic posters have always been attractive for clients.

I like this list. All of these questions are definitely vital to ensure you are engaging with a valid and reliable web development company or entity. But what about finding reliable freelancers? I agree with many of the issues raised in this article regarding the problems that arise in hiring freelancers for web development solutions. But they do have their merits especially in regards to fast turn around. My question is are there any trustworthy sites other than odesk and elance or resources where freelancers with verified credentials can be hired?
